FRIENDS OF BAFFOUR is a group that has been formed by concerned friends, and supported by , and we are supported by a community outreach group, NGOZI, a 501(c)(3) Non-profit Organization to find ways on how to donate resources and more especially cash donations to support a friend in need to help give him back his independence, self-esteem, happiness and sense of normalcy in his not-so-normal life.
John Oduro, affectionately known as Baffour, is a vibrant and energetic young man full of life filled with dreams and aspirations. He completed Prempeh College, Kumasi-Ghana in 1998 and then moved to the United States in 2003.
He was involved in a terrible car accident one fateful morning of January 31, 2006 on Jeff Davis Hwy/US Route 1 in Woodbridge, Virginia while on his way back from work. . He suffered some severe injuries to his spinal cord, which has left him paralyzed from the waist down.

Baffour has been through years of hardship since he has been sick. Yet, he has always been one of the happiest people ever; always giving, always smiling, and always helping others. Now is the time for us to come together and help Baffour get through this tough time.
We are appealing to the community, and anyone or organizations which can find it in their hearts to help lift his spirit up each day, and make his life a little bit easier. With nothing at his disposal at this point in his life, Baffour would be very grateful for whatever you can afford, whether in cash or in kind.
